History has been made today,April 13th as Queen Beatrix of Netherlands who is 75 years old abdicated after 33yrs on the throne .Her eldest son, 46 year old Willem-Alexander was handed the crown and he becomes the first King of Netherlands in over a century that is 1890 to be precise. The former queen will be henceforth be addressed as Princess Betrix.
Kind Willem-Alexander and his beautiful Argentine wife have three daughters who also came out to the balcony and joined their parents to wave to over 20,000 excited citizens.
