Fear spreads as students brace for the alleged plans of a 60% increase in IMSU school fees. During former Governor Rochas' regime, his free education scheme was N45,000 for indigenes while others paid N150,000. With this new alleged increment, it suggests that Imo state citizens will pay N120,000 while non-indigenes will pay the sum of N190,000.
Textbooks are said to allegedly range from N4500 to N50,000 which makes parents unable to cope especially after paying for accommodation. According to sources, the School has been in meetings but no definite statement has been made in regards to the tuition fees.
