President Jonathan was on a live broadcast this evening and finally declared an indefinite state of emergency in three Northern states, Adamawa, Borno and Yobe because of insecurity.
The Military are hereby given authority to be in charge of security in the affected states but their respective Governors and other office holders in Government will remain in their posts.
The President has also ordered the military troops to arrest any terrorists while dialogue with the militants will still be on course.
To the terrorists he says this;"We will hunt them down, fish them out and bring them to justice. No matter what it takes, we will win this war against terror" .
