The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Governor Rochas Okorocha and Ibikunle Amosu of Ogun state.
The NWC has also recommended the expulsion of the two governors from the party.
The reasons for their suspension and recommendation for expulsion reported to be their alleged anti-party activities during and after the party primaries and campaigns.
Both governors have thrown their weights behind Guber aspirations of candidates other than APC’s for the March 9th governorship election. Okorocha is campaigning for his son in- law, Uche Nwosu of the Action Alliance party while Amosun is campaigning for Abiodun Akinalde of the Allied People’s Movement (APM).
