Farmers in Imo State to receive N80m grant from DFID

The Principal Officer to the Imo State Governor on Employment and Job Creation,Hon. Remy Chukwunyere, has disclosed that farmers in Imo State doing business in the Palm oil and Fisheries value chains will soon access grants to improve on their production and processing activities.

This opportunity is coming from the UK DFID Markets Development in the Niger Delta (MADE) program, which is launching its Technology Adoption Grant in Imo State on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.

In a earlier release made by DFID MADE, successful bids from farmers and cooperative societies in the state will have access to about 1 miilion naira from the TAG fund in order to adopt the new technologies being introduced to them for increased productivity and effeciency.
