The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of Mr Godwin Emefiele, a career banker as the new CBN Governor.
Mr Emefiele replaced the disgraced former Governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido, who is emeshed in billions of Naira fraudlent and reckless spending activities allegations while in office.
