IMSG to pull down “makeshift hotels” – Okorocha

The Imo State government has warned that any hotel not approved or registered right from 

its foundation by the government would be pull down.

Governor Okorocha pointed out that the government would not fold its hands and watch 

people start converting their residential houses to hotels, all in an attempt to make money 

out of it. According to him, they were doing this because people have discovered that hotels

 were lucrative business one could easily survive in Imo State. In view of the foregoing, 

people who have converted their residential houses to hotels should be prepared to face the

 music, because time is up.
