IMO STATE: Community Govt Council (CGC) elections to hold March 1st, 2014

The Imo State Government has declared Saturday, 1st March 2014 as date for the election

 of Members into the Community Government Council of the 637 communities of the State.

This was disclosed at the end of a meeting Governor Okorocha held with the Chairmen of 

Council of Traditional Rulers in the Local Government Areas, Officers of the Imo State 

Independent Electoral Commission, Officers of the Ministry of Community Government and

 Chietaincy affairs and other Stakeholders at the Government House, Owerri.
