President Jonathan has disengaged or sacked the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Harold Demuren. This was made public on March 11th after what the Presidency described as Demuren's unsatisfactory responses to the numerous concern s of stakeholders in the aviation sector.
