Lol ,President Goodluck Jonathan has reversed the change of name of the University of Lagos which he renamed Moshood Abiola University in a broadcast to mark the 2012 Democracy Day. Prof Jerry Gana confirmed this in Abuja yesterday.
We all know there have been protests and suits for the name to be reversed and i must say that i have always suspected mischief. I think Mr President did it for kicks!! Like if you love Abiola so much then let me immortalize him for you guys.
Comon people,The man is or was a University don so i truly believe he knows the protocols of changing a name.
I was laughing my ass off at how much protests especially from the poor final year students whose Certificates would read MOSHOOD ABIOLA UNIVERSITY instead of UNILAG lol!!at their Graduation.
Comedians even took turns making jokes and one joker actually changed a bus stop's name to MAUTH.
All i can say is that maybe now the aggrieved will sleep well and not raise their stress level.
